PSM Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The PSM Coordinator position is part of a committed force of trusted advisors, who exceed expectations, have unmatched expertise, and have a duty to deliver exceptional service. PSM Coordinators use their Process Safety Management (PSM) experience to share best practices that prevent incidents, collaborate with customers to develop strategies that increase safety preparedness, and perform on-site audits to ensure customer facilities are compliant and safe.

The primary goal is to assist members of the Process Safety Services group in order to ensure completion of assigned projects in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction.

TERRITORY

• This is a remote position that involves up to 75% travel time.
• Primary regional footprint: Mid-Atlantic Region
• Travel to customer facilities and ColonialWebb offices located in Harrisonburg, VA; Richmond, VA; and Norfolk, VA as needed.
• Overnight travel of +/- (3) nights per week to other areas in our footprint (SC, NC, VA, WV, TN, KT, GA) can be expected.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Cultivate lasting relationships with industrial refrigeration customers by demonstrating safety and compliance expertise while delivering unbelievable service.
• Collaborate with our business development team when growth opportunities have been identified with key customers.
• Consult with customers to assess and develop plans, systems, and training that will increase safety preparedness and compliance within their facility.
• Conduct site visits to customer facilities for Process Safety Management projects such as:
  • Mechanical Integrity Audits
  • Compliance Audits
  • Process Hazard Analysis
  • Management of Change
  • Standard Operating Procedures
• Serve as safety/compliance liaison on behalf of ColonialWebb for customers who are subject to audit from OSHA and other federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist in developing a more streamlined PSM program while continually developing more efficient ways of documenting and producing customer deliverables
• Assist PSS Manager with any other assigned tasks

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

• RETA certifications (CIRO or CARO).
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or HASWOPER certifications.
• Working knowledge and experience with Process Safety & Risk Management supporting the Industrial Refrigeration industry.
• College degree and a thorough understanding of refrigeration and principles of process and risk management
